Crypto Conditions was the 2019 innovation from Komodo (jl777 & libscott) that enabled consensus layer smart transactions & contracts. Mike Toutonghi, Microsoft Engineering Fellow, took this toolkit to new innovative levels with Verus introducing a decentralized identity & more. The onboarding of other developers has stagnated from few to nearly double whilst the EVM world has become the defacto standard, and the update of blockchain security is not a priority for newer projects. The time to re-invent is here for the Komodo project.
